Steps to Obtaining a Business License – 1:1 Call Session

During this phone call session, the DLCP Business Resource Center (BRC) staff will provide one-on-one assistance with navigating through the regulatory process to learn the basic steps of obtaining a business license, including but not limited to the following:

• Discussing where you are within the registration process
• Gaining an in-depth knowledge of registering with corporations (i.e. Limited Liability Company, Corporations, Non-Profit, etc.)
• Registering with the DC Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR)
• Registering with the Department of Buildings Zoning Division (i.e. Certificate of Occupancy and or Home Occupancy Permit)
• Providing business advancement opportunities and resources to start, grow, or expand your business model
• Etc.

Sessions are available by appointment, from Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm.
