Programs & Services
Each month, OCP hosts a General Vendor Workshop to discuss how to get started doing business with the District. In these sessions, participants are given an overview of how to register in eSourcing, selecting commodity codes, and an overview of the procurement process.
OCP also hosts a monthly workshop specifically for vendors interested in the DC Supply Schedule, a set-aside market for registered Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs) in the District. In these sessions, contracting officers and contract specialist provide an overview of the DC Supply Schedule and its application process.
DC Buys is OCP’s annual reverse vendor trade fair. DC Buys provides a unique opportunity for local and regional vendors to directly engage the District’s program managers and procurement personnel. Vendors have the opportunity to market goods and services, share capability statements, and learn of upcoming District government procurement opportunities directly from representatives who make purchasing decisions on behalf of their specific District government agencies. It is a prime opportunity for vendors to maximize their marketing efforts.
The Procurement Center of Excellence Customer Contact Center is the central point of reference for questions about registering to do business with the District.
