The Historic Dupont Circle Main Street supports small businesses by maintaining and enhancing the appearance of their commercial corridor and assists with business retention, expansion and recruitment.

They also market the local small businesses through events, retail promotions, and branding to attract foot traffic. Some of the regularly held activations are Taste of Dupont, 17th Street Festival, and the Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market welcoming hundreds of visitors each Sunday.

The main street also provides a variety of tools and resources to its member businesses like one-on-one technical assistance, referral services and business opportunities. Members are regularly featured in the print and e-blast newsletter that reaches between 1,000- 2,000 people.
