Dreaming Out Loud, Inc. (DOL) is dedicated to creating economic opportunities within the marginalized communities of the Washington, DC metropolitan region by establishing a healthy and equitable food system. DOL strategically addresses issues related to community health, employment, and economic empowerment in Wards 6, 7, and 8 of Washington, DC by transforming the local food system.

Dreaming Out Loud – DREAM Program
The DREAM Program is a comprehensive small-business support ecosystem providing human, financial, and infrastructure resources to entrepreneurs from low-resourced and marginalized communities. The program is designed to deliver long-term economic opportunity by addressing barriers to business growth and sustainability.
DREAM Bootcamp
The DREAM Bootcamp is a 14-week intensive business fundamentals program for highly motivated entrepreneurs from underfunded communities. It culminates in a pitch competition where participants can win cash prizes and professional branding services, followed by at least six months of one-on-one coaching with a dedicated business advisor.
Graduates gain ongoing access to technical assistance, revenue-generating opportunities, peer support networks, and partner organizations.
DREAM Program also offers the following workshops annually: Consumer Packaged Goods Series and 1:1 TA with a local entrepreneur, Grant Writing workshops (monthly), Business Ideation workshops, and more.
Partner Farmer Infrastructure Fund (PFIF)
The Partner Farmer Infrastructure Fund (PFIF) provides ongoing capacity-building support to marginalized farmers and food entrepreneurs. It complements the DREAM Program by offering micro-grants and technical assistance based on participant needs and available resources, helping entrepreneurs access critical tools and infrastructure to grow their businesses.
