Destination Congress Heights

Destination Congress Heights Main Street (DCH) is a community-driven organization that supports small, local, startup and emerging businesses along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, Alabama Avenue SE and through the St. Elizabeth’s East campus in Southeast Washington, DC. DCH provides year- around programming and support to more than 70 businesses and 200 startup and emerging community based entrepreneurs. The program is managed by the Congress Heights Community Training and Development Corporation (CHCTDC).

Programs and Services Offered

They also provide technical support the businesses within the main street boundaries including help with navigating the District’s regulations, business plan development, marketing, federal license support, contract management, and other back-office guidance. They offer advise on business expansion through knowledge surrounding financial capital options, succession planning, and support with selling and closing processes.
